new album: middle

The Instituto Internacional del Ruido has released its third album, Middle. This new work continues the project’s exploration of the intersections between noise and language through improvisation and sonic experimentation.

Middle features the original score composed for Lo que hay en el medio, a choreographic piece by dancer and researcher Vanessa Vargas. The collaboration blends movement and sound to probe the spaces “in between”—whether physical, emotional, aesthetic, or conceptual.

With Middle, the Instituto Internacional del Ruido builds upon its ongoing inquiry into the transformative potential of noise as a medium for artistic and cultural expression.

The album is now available through the project’s Bandcamp page.
